Performing Arts Society
The purpose of the CPCC Performing Arts Society is to sustain the three major performing arts programs at the College – CPCC Theatre, Opera Theatre and Summer Theatre. For more than 40 years, these programs have provided the Charlotte region with outstanding theatrical and musical productions while providing opportunities to literally thousands of actors, singers, musicians, directors and set designers, among others. By becoming a member of the Performing Arts Society, your gift will help ensure that this wonderful cultural, professional entertainment and educational resource for our community continues.

CPCC Summer Theatre
CPCC Summer Theatre has been bringing professional summer stock to Charlotte since 1973. Offering five shows each season in the beautiful Dale F. Halton Theatre and Pease Auditorium, CPCC drama students have the unique opportunity to work with professional actors, designers, directors and technicians throughout an intensive production process. With your support, the College will continue to offer superb entertainment and unique training opportunities for actors and theatre professionals.

CPCC Opera Theatre
The CPCC Opera Theatre is an artistic training ground, offering opportunities to aspiring performers, set designers, directors, stage managers, and musicians. Each of the two annual opera productions involves more than 100 people, affording a rich and unusual hands-on learning environment. Patron Society members will be published in all opera theater programs.

Dale F. Halton Theater

Dale F. Halton Seat Campaign
You are invited to be a benefactor of this spectacular theater by participating in the seat campaign for the Halton Theater. As a Seat Benefactor, your name or that of a friend or relative will be permanently and prominently recognized on a plaque in the theater. The proceeds of this campaign will create a fund to ensure the ongoing quality of the facility and its artistic programming. Seat benefactors will be recognized in all playbills and programs distributed at performances in the theater.

Pease Auditorium

Pease Auditorium Benefactor
As a Pease Auditorium Benefactor your gift will help establish an endowed fund to maintain the quality of this important performance venue and its artistic programming. As a Benefactor your gift will honor the venues 40 years of delighting audiences, and will celebrate the reopening of the renovated auditorium. Benefactors will be recognized on a plaque in the lobby.
