Since our founding in 1963, Central Piedmont Community College has extended educational and career training opportunities to more than 1.5 million people across the region. Today, we serve more than 70,000 individuals per year and have become the largest institution of higher education on the Carolinas.
To ensure we continue this tradition of serving Mecklenburg County as an academic resource, we have embarked on Legacy and Promise, a comprehensive fundraising campaign to address the current and anticipated needs of the College and its surrounding communities.
Your private support of Legacy and Promise is essential; it will help us provide brighter futures for our students – and the region – as well as help us overcome our greatest institutional challenge: managing our growing enrollment numbers as funding is decreased at the local and state levels.
That is why we ask you to learn more about our Legacy and Promise campaign, an initiative that will help us enrich the community we have called home for almost 50 years by providing an accessible, quality education to one and all.
